Purchase tickets for the Official TAB Everest Calcutta for your chance to “own” one of the 12 Everest contenders in the Calcutta auction.
12 winning tickets will be drawn at 2pm on the 18th October 2024, with each of these winning tickets representing a runner in the Everest.
The 12 winners drawn will then have their runners auctioned at 3pm, with each winner receiving 50% of their runner’s sale price, and the remaining 50% going towards the Calcutta prize pool. Alternatively, the winner can "purchase" the horse for 50% of the sale price, with the remaining 50% going towards the prize pool.
The total Calcutta prize pool is made up of 100% of the Calcutta ticket sales and 50% of the total Calcutta auction sales.
Following the running of The TAB Everest, the winner, and placegetters will be entitled to receive their share of the Calcutta prize pool as per:
• 1st place – 70% of the prize pool
• 2nd place – 20% of the prize pool
• 3rd place – 10% of the prize pool
